Heeeere’s Johnny!

We brought Johnny home on 4/29/06. We said to try first, because we never really had cats before (at least not full time cats =), and now we couldn’t do without him. He is our pride and joy.

Johnny was about 3 years old when we adopted him. My friend Lisa found him around her house and rescued him. Now I am his new mommy. He went to the vet that first day and got all his shots, but he had to go back 5 days later to get neutered (yes, we didn’t want him marking his territory all over the house!).

He loves to be pet, can’t have too much love. He also likes to talk and always has an answer. He looks so cute and sweet talking with an almost silent soft meow when he wants to be polite, but you’ll certainly hear him if he’s hungry (which is most of the time…!). He has a gym in his room and a condo in the living room where he is king! and prefers people not touching his domain. He loves his condo and the hanging leather mouse, and has hours of fun there and playing with all his toys.

He has such a good nature. Although once in a while he goes crazy and starts racing around the house and over the furniture very fast, we think it is related to him doing number 2, so we keep his litter box clean all the time (and he uses it a lot!). He loves tuna, but surprisingly, he is not that crazy about sardines like Shadow is.

Johnny is an inside cat, so he loooves to sit by the window and watch everything that happens in the neighborhood. He has his eyes in the chipmonks that live in our front yard, but until he can get his paws on them, he is happy to hunt as many flies and mosquitos as he can find.
